Kegel exercises, named after Dr. Arnold Kegel, consist of contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor (now sometimes colloquially referred to as the "Kegel muscles"). Otherwise known as the Pubococcygeus or PC muscles, they stretch from the front of your vaginal opening to your coccyx (tailbone). Strengthening them brings a broad range of benefits because these muscles are responsible for many things, including urinary, vaginal and bowel control. As such, Kegel exercises are intended to condition your muscles to help you retain greater control over these essential organs.
The pelvic floor muscles form a cradle of support for the uterus, bowel and bladder, as well as controlling the sensitive muscles in the rectal and urethral area. Muscle inactivity, aging and stretching of the muscles during childbirth weakens the pelvic floor muscles which can lead to urinary and bowel incontinence or pelvic-organ prolapse. Doing pelvic floor exercises regularly gives you greater control over these important muscles and also leads to heightened sensitivity during intimate activities.
Laselle Kegel Exercisers allow for an easier and more efficient Kegel routine. The exercisers provide you with a static device to squeeze around so as to help you locate your PC muscles (pelvic floor muscles) and exercise more effectively. Meanwhile, the weighted inner balls respond to your natural movement, resulting in discreet kinetic vibrations to help promote PC muscle contractions. Additionally, the exercisers can be linked to help you create a tailored routine.
They were specially created for your intimate area in order to be safe, soft and very comfortable to wear. The exercisers are made entirely from FDA-approved materials, including phthalate-free silicone and ABS, bacteria-resistant retraction leash and an outer ring of durable ABS plastic, all of which are easy-to-clean and body-safe.
Inserting the exercisers is simple; assume a comfortable position and insert the exerciser fully into the vagina using a little water-based lubricant. There is no need to push the exerciser deep inside as it should rest comfortably above the vaginal wall about 2cm inside.
If you are inserting more than one ball, follow the same method, inserting the lead ball first and then the second ball with the retraction leash facing out. Maintain a relaxed breathing pattern and use a gentle but firm motion to introduce the balls into your vaginal opening.
With the retraction leash, taking the exerciser out is as easy as putting it in. The leash is 7cm long to facilitate easy removal. Make sure the retraction leash protrudes slightly from the vagina when you insert the exerciser. To remove, simply pull the leash, gently at first, increasing pressure as required. If the exerciser does not come out easily, try sitting or lying down, relax your body, and pull the leash a little harder.
The exercisers can be used together to provide a varied and more complete workout routine. Simply link them using the retraction leash and the leash openings. Doing so according to your level of pelvic fitness allows you to tailor a routine to your needs. With a combination of balls, gravity will compel your muscles to work harder meaning a more challenging and complete workout.
Experiment with different balls until you find the combination that is both challenging and comfortable enough for you. Take care not to ask too much of your body; if the weight is too much or if you experience any discomfort, remove the balls and switch to a lighter combination.
Clean your exerciser before and after each use, either with anti-bacterial soap and water or with a purpose-made product such as our Intimate Accessory Cleaner. Wipe dry with a lint-free towel or cloth. Never use cleansers containing alcohol, petrol or acetone as these substances have the potential to disturb your natural balance and they may also damage the silicone on the outer shell of the exerciser.
Laselle Kegel Exercisers help you to strengthen the muscles which lift the delivery canal and control contractions during labor. A consistent Kegel routine, supplemented by the exercisers, may help to prevent the complications caused by weak pelvic floor muscles.
Because of the added pressure on the pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy, it is ideal to make a daily habit of using the Laselle Exercisers to strengthen these all-important muscles and prepare your body before you become pregnant.
It is advised that expectant mothers refrain from introducing foreign materials into their vaginas while carrying, as there is an increased risk for miscarriage and premature rupturing of the membranes. If you have any questions, please consult your physician.
Kegel exercising is often recommended in postpartum recovery, although it is suggested to begin exercising with a ball of lighter weight, progressing on to a routine with greater resistance as your muscles regain their strength. It is important to remember to give yourself enough recovery time after giving birth before starting any exercise routine. If you have any questions regarding the appropriate time to start exercising again, please consult your physician.
We recommend usage while you are active as this is when your muscles are stimulated to exercise.
As with any exercise regime, keeping to a regular schedule is important. Laselle Kegel Exercisers can be used discreetly at any time, so remember to insert them before daily tasks that cause you to move around.
If the exercise gets too easy, you can increase the resistance by using an exerciser of a heavier weight or by linking more than one exerciser together to personalize your routine.
Results will vary based upon your current level of pelvic floor fitness. Like any exercise routine, consistency is important. Laselle Kegel Exercisers will supplement regular pelvic floor exercises because you can insert them at any time of day and feel secure that you are working on the correct set of pelvic floor muscles. As with strengthening any muscle, you will notice steady improvement according to the consistency of your exercise regime.
Each Laselle Kegel Exerciser comes with its own storage pouch, giving you the perfect place for storage between uses.
The materials used in Laselle Kegel Exercisers are FDA-approved. All Intimina products meet US and European safety standards.Lily Cup

If the Lily Cup™ is inserted correctly you should be completely spot-free. It is important to remember that it takes a bit of time and practice to learn how to use a menstrual cup. But, if you are experiencing spotting, the most common reason is that when it was inserted the Lily Cup™ did not fully open to form a seal with the vaginal wall.
We recommend that you remove and reinsert your cup and try one of the following tips to ensure that the cup has fully opened. Once inserted:
1.Softly squeeze the base of the cup (not the stem) and slightly rotate it.2.Insert 1 finger and gently run it around the inserted cup to ensure that a seal has formed.
Also, we offer two folding options for the Lily Cup™, and perhaps by trying a new folding option you may eliminate this problem.
Yes, even young girls can reap the many benefits that the Lily Cup™ offers. Since the Lily Cup™ rests in a lower position than a tampon, it is perfectly safe for women of all ages. However, if you are concerned about the hymen, please consult your medical practitioner prior to use.
You can wear your Lily Cup™ for up to 12 hours, and we recommend that you empty your cup 2-3 times per 24 hour period. Depending on your menstrual flow, you will see how often you may need to change it. Generally speaking, the lighter your flow, the less frequent the changes. But on those heavy days, you may need to empty your cup more often. With time and practice you will be able to gauge how often you personally need to empty your cup.
No, the Lily Cup™ cannot be worn during intercourse. It is important to note that the Lily Cup™ is not a contraceptive and will not prevent against pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted diseases.
First of all, relax your body! This will help to ease your vaginal muscles and facilitate insertion. Find a comfortable position and try the different folding options to see which one is most comfortable for you. You can also use a little water-based lubricant for added comfort.
Insertion of the Lily Cup™ is similar to that of a tampon and since it's new, it may seem a little difficult at first. With time and a bit of practice, inserting the Lily Cup™ will become effortless. In fact, most girls master the technique after a few attempts and then they love how comfortable it is.
Yes, we recommend that you use a water-based lubricant such as Intimina's Feminine Moisturizer. Avoid using a silicone-based lubricant as this could make the silicone permanently tacky.
Remain calm if you cannot remove your cup, there is no urgency as the Lily Cup™ can be worn for up to 12 hours. The key to easy removal is relaxing your body! In a slight squatting position, use a series of gentle, downward pushes with your vaginal muscles to move the cup lower. Then, grip the stem to slowly pull downwards. Once you can reach the base of the cup, gently squeeze the base to release the seal. Continue to pull the stem downwards and when you feel that the base is almost out angle your cup slightly to avoid any spilling.
The Lily Cup™ does not need to be removed for urination or bowel movement.Kiri, Raya, Celesse and Kalia – Personal Massagers
