Organic cotton clothing has seen a recent spike in popularity, with many retailers introducing organic collections to their stores. It may seem like a fad, but there is evidence to suggest there could be real advantages to favoring materials produced using natural methods.
Conventionally, cotton farmers use large quantities of insecticides and pesticides to protect their crops. By choosing organic cotton instead, you can be sure that your clothing is free of these, as well as all the other dyes and chemicals used in fabric processing. If your skin is easily irritated, this could be the best option for you as you can be certain organic clothing contains no hidden toxins – which means one thing less for you to worry about.
