It\u2019s also vital to use water that has been filtered and is free from chlorine and potentially harmful bacteria. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Bowel Issues: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solutions that are highly acidic like coffee, apple cider vinegar, and lemon can potentially harm your bowel with issues like rectal burns, infections, and inflammation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many of the enemas listed above have little to no research to back up their claims or effectiveness.
