survey of 2,000 women found that 57% said they used to exercise more frequently than they do now, with exercise burnout sidelining them for nine days at a time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On average, women exercise four times a week, although 52% admit to exercising three times or less.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21818 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/how-often-women-exercise.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"788\" height=\"576\" https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/how-often-women-exercise-768x561.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The average workout lasts 44 minutes and consists of a variety of exercises like aerobics (50%), jumping rope (48%), lifting weights (45%), Kegels (44%) and yoga (41%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many know that there\u2019s room for improvement with 69% confessing that they know they don\u2019t put enough effort into exercising.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21819 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/lack-of-effort-exercising.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"777\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/lack-of-effort-exercising.png 777w, https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/lack-of-effort-exercising-512x267.png 512w, https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/lack-of-effort-exercising-768x400.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 777px) 100vw, 777px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conducted by OnePoll for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intimina<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the survey also found some of the barriers to women not getting enough exercise, such as feeling tired beforehand (49%), feeling like exercising is difficult (47%) and not having enough time (42%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, a third of women claim they haven\u2019t seen results from exercising, leaving them feeling insecure (12%) and hopeless (12%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respondents said they would exercise more if they had more motivation (53%) and better ways to measure their results (34%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forty-eight percent also said they\u2019d exercise more if they knew how to correctly perform exercises, as one in eight aren\u2019t confident that they can complete a workout correctly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Results show that women are least confident in knowing how to do tricep dips, wallsits and bear crawls correctly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, most agree that now is the best time they can take care of their bodies (80%) and that it\u2019ll only get harder with age (76%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21821 size-full\" Whether in their twenties, thirties,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">forties, or beyond, women&#8217;s body deserves the same level of attention and care. By being<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proactive and addressing any issues early on, women can maintain optimal intimate health<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">throughout their lives. We&#8217;re committed to helping women embrace the beauty of their bodies at<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">every age and feel confident in their skin, inside and out.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thinking about the future, women know they\u2019ll need to strengthen parts of their body such as their waist (43%), hips (42%) and shoulders (27%). Some of the lesser-considered body parts include glutes or the pelvic floor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Still, respondents offered up advice for preventing issues like \u201cdon\u2019t wait too late to keep up on getting your body checked out,\u201d which may be especially relevant since most women haven\u2019t gotten a pelvic exam within the past year (62%), despite recommendations from professionals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other words of advice included \u201cbe proactive in keeping fit in all bodily areas and not just those that you can see\u201d and \u201cit\u2019s important to do Kegels before you get older and have issues.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women may struggle to put this advice into action since 62% are not confident they know how to do Kegels correctly, believing myths like the best way to do them are to squeeze as hard as possible (49%), they\u2019re only helpful after a problem arises (43%) or that they\u2019re hard to do (42%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21820 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/kegel-myths.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"757\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/kegel-myths.png 757w, https:\/\/www.intimina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/kegel-myths-383x273.png 383w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 757px) 100vw, 757px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than a third of women have experienced issues with their pelvic floor (39%).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Every woman deserves to feel confident, comfortable and empowered in her body,\u201d Kokotovic<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">said. \u201cThat&#8217;s why we&#8217;re passionate about promoting the benefits of Kegels \u2014 not just for intimacy<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">but for overall pelvic health.
