If something is forced in, it can cause stinging and burning, possibly leading to tearing and further pain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pain can occur when inserting a tampon, inserting a finger, a sex toy, or a penis. Some folks may feel pain if an object is near the vagina due to a fear of penetration. The entire process won&#8217;t take longer than 20 minutes but listen to your body.
