ANGELA DEROSA D.O., M.B.A., C.P.E
Dr. Angela DeRosa is an internal medicine specialist and internationally recognized authority on women’s hormonal health and menopause with more than 20 years experience practicing, teaching and consulting. Her mission is to teach women about what’s happening to them physically during menopause, how they can obtain proper treatment, and to change the paradigm of medicine so women everywhere can live healthier and happier lives. While still in medical school, she developed the nineteenth women’s health program in the US. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, she is the founder of DeRosa Medical, with offices in the Greater Phoenix metro area and a growing number of patients that seek her expertise from countries around the world. DeRosa is a member of the International Menopause Society, European Endocrine and Menopause Society, International Society of the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and a researcher on women’s health issues. As an Associate Professor at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, she frequently lectures on women’s health issues in the osteopathic medical community. As a women’s health expert, Dr. DeRosa is a regular guest on a variety of television, news and radio programs, and writes a bi-monthly “Ask the Expert” column for the Arizona Republic’s community pages. She is the author of How Your Doctor is Slowly Killing You: A Woman’s Health Survival Guide.
