Susan Wysocki is the Principal and Founder of iWoman's Health which highlights insight, information and interconnections about health issues for women. Ms. Wysocki is a nationally recognized expert, opinion leader, speaker, writer, and consultant in the field of women's health. She was the President and CEO of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH) for nearly 25 years. She is also a women's health nurse practitioner. Ms. Wysocki is the editor of several publications, including Women's Health Care: A Practical Journal for Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she is a contributing Editor and Washington, D.C., Bureau Chief for Nurse Practitioner World News. Ms. Wysocki also serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal for Nurse Practitioners, Dialogues in Contraception, and Contraceptive Technology Update. She has authored numerous articles about issues in women's health and is one of the Ask the Experts for Medscape for Nurse Practitioners and a video blogger for Web M.D. Ms. Wysocki has testified before Congress, the FDA and CDC regarding women's health issues, as well as the role of nurse practitioners. She received a special citation from the Commissioner of the FDA for her work on a campaign to inform women about hormone therapy. She has been quoted in O magazine, the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Glamour, Essence, Shape, and Rolling Stone. She has also appeared on national television and radio shows where she discussed a wide range of women's health issues.
