New MAB Members

Intimina is proud to introduce three new members to our Medical Advisory Board – Dr. Shelin Tkatch, Dr. Kourtney Sims, and Dr. Angela DeRosa. These three doctors were formally introduced at the 2014 Annual Meeting, and join the 10 distinguished medical health experts serving on the Board. Dr. DeRosa, Dr. Tkatch, and Dr. Sims are passionate about women’s health, and chose to work with Intimina as we share the same goals – to provide women with the very best options in intimate care.

Dr. Shelin Tkatch, FRCSC, is a surgeon specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology with an interest in women’s sexual health and wellness. She is the medical director of both MD Wellness Solutions and Grandview Gynecology and Obstetrics in Canada.  Her clinical focus areas are diverse and include:  maternity care, pelvic and sexual health of women, menopause care and skin health. She enjoys being involved in the medical education of the next generation of physicians through supervision of clinical internships and takes an active role in physician leadership.

Dr. Kourtney Sims is a physican based in Houson, TX. As well as the Intimina Medical Advisory Board, she is a member of several professional organizations including the Harris County Medical Society, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Sims’ medical philosophy includes both traditional and holistic therapies, giving her patients more comprehensive options for their treatment. Her areas of expertise include adolescent gynecology and contraceptive counseling, laproscopic surgery, menopause treatment, as well as in-office solutions to common women’s health issues

Dr. Angela DeRosa, DO, MBA, CPE, joins the board with more than 20 years in the medical field, practicing, teaching and consulting on women’s health. She is the founder and lead practitioner at DeRosa Medical, a medical center with offices in the Greater Phoenix metro area. Dr. Angela DeRosa’s mission is to teach women about what’s happening to them physically during menopause, how they can obtain proper treatment, and to change the paradigm of medicine so women everywhere can live healthier and happier lives.

We are thrilled to begin working with these three doctors and together make great improvements in the lives of women worldwide. To learn more about Dr. DeRose, Dr. Tkatch, and Dr. Sims, as well as the other members of the Medical Advisory Board, visit our Experts page.
